Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble with GBPVR 1.3.11. I'm running a Nova-T 500 dual tuner on XP SP3 32bit.

Certain channels such as E4 show in the config program as available via both tuners (rescanned a couple of times), but when I try to play it or record it, all I get is audio but no video. Wierdly, E4+1 works fine...

I've tried 3 different decoders (ffdshow, nvidia and intervideo), but this doesn't seem to make a difference.

Have attached the logs, for irony's sake the program playing at the time was a film called Picture Perfect Smile

Edit: Just to add, the channel plays fine through WinTV

Ahh, sorry, I knew there was something else I forgot to mention. I applied all the (relevant) patches from the survival thread. I'm assuming this is one of them (the name looks familiar). I'll give it a shot though!

Its a newer version than one of the patches from the survival guide.

Hah, check it out, it did work!

Thank you so much for sorting that so quickly, I really appreciate it. You do a great job here Smile

It was the same problem another user had about a week ago, relating to some changes they made in the stream for these channels.

Ahh ok, glad it wasn't too much work.

FYI, a slight bug I've noticed with/since the update. Note, this doesn't affect any of the previously working channels - only E4 that I've noticed.

If you're watching another channel currently, then choose to go directly to E4 without going via the TV Guide (Channel Up/Down/Direct number-access), the audio works, but the picture freezes on the last frame that was shown on the previous channel.

Changing channel away from E4 to one of the 'working' channels works fine again.

Not a big issue, as I virtually never use this functionality and always go via the TV Guide, but I thought I'd bring it up incase it's something more serious!

This is probably related to the decoders you're using. Try another combination.
