Hi,

Today I installed an older computer with Windows 2000 and GBPVR, planning to use it as a media PC. The TV/FM card is a Conceptronic CTVFMi2.
The chipset used on the CTVFMi2 is from Philips Type: SAA7131E , the tuner
is also a philips one: 8275AC1, IR chip seems to be KS003.

How do I set up GBPVR to use this card for capturing TV?

I've already been looking through the forums for similar questions (using searches on; Conceptronic, ctvfmi2 and SAA7131E) but without any hits.

Can anyone help me out here?

TIA

Soory, but this card lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder so isnt compatible with GB-PVR.

Hi sub,

Although the reply isn't what I would have hoped; thanks for clearing this up. Apparently I'll have to look for a replacement. Any recommendations (brand / chipset)?

If you want to have any analog (or analog + digital etc), you should pretty much just stick with Hauppauge cards. They've got lots of appropriate cards, just make sure you check the specs for one with hardware encoder.
