I'd give the wiki a read it has a decent amount of info. there free and non free services and you will have to read the wiki to see what fits you i use a free service called mc2xml See wiki link below http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utility/MC2XML

Just use Schedules Direct. It's only $20 per year, and the listings are superior to what you'll get from MC2XML. Not only that, it's MUCH easier to setup in GB-PVR. You can also delete the channels you don't want, so you don't get useless guide data cluttering up your database or showing up in searches.
I did use MC2XML at first, but gladly paid the $20 once I tried Schedules Direct on their 7 day trial.
server: NextPVR 5.0.7/Win10 2004/64-bit/AMD A6-7400k/hvr-2250 & hvr-1250/Winegard Flatwave antenna/Schedules Direct
main client: NextPVR 5.0.7 Desktop Client; LG 50UH5500 WebOS 3.0 TV

Depends on your listings/location I guess. Both are simple to use.

Which is the best choice for cable/Sattelite in the US? It looks like MC2XML only provides terrestial ATSC.
