Yeah, that device wont work. HDCP and lack of hardware encoding make it next to useless.

Not to mention only 2 channel audio capture. I mean seriously! If your are going to build an HDMI capture card, ideally you'd want to have it decode HDCP in 1080p format and be able capture the newest audio formats (DD, DD+, TrueHD, etc.)

Of course that would never happen. The FCC would shit a brick if a product like that ever came out.
