Hello,

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I have an older PVR-500 card and I would like to output my PC video to that (for example while i'm playing a DVD). But I only get output from my videocard monitor interface (have an older nvidia 5200 limited output)

a pvr500 is a input device will never output anything
your video card does the video output and your sound card does the sound

you may need to update your video card to have svideo or composite (yellow plug)to your tv although i would think the 5200 would have that

if on the other hand you are talking about a external dvd player and capturing the video then you will have to set up a external capture source
