I'm curious about GBPVR, having tried Mythtv and now using mediaPortal. I understand that part of it is proprietary. Unfortunately I have not been able to find out any information about who owns the rights or under what licence terms is the code offered. Perhaps I have just not looked in the right place. However, the license is quite important to know about. Can anyone explain or point me in the right direction?

I think it is a Swedish company named Wellton Way that owns the rights to GBPVR and I don't think you will get any source code. Some plugins are however Open Source I think.

Thanks for such a quick response! I wasn't after source code, but I would like to know on what basis the executables are offered. I couldn't find anything on their web site.
