I think I may have the skin conversion for UbuStream ironed out for CommunitySkin v4.
EDIT: Did a quick conversion of UBURadio as well.

Right now, it only is working in the "SD" (4:3) version, and I need some people that really use this plugin (or would like too) to let me know if I have missed something.

Right now, the installer does 90% of the job, but there is a simple bit of file copying to do to get this to be functional.

I want to get some feedback before I put this version to bed and start on the widescreen version.

Download and install UbuStream.

Follow setup and configuration instructions for the plugin here.

Download and install CS4-SD test version.

Now you will need to manually copy the _CoreImages folder from \Skin2\Community-SD to \Skin\Community-SD. This step is going to be fixed in the final version.

CommonGBVRUtilities and GBPVRUIElements DLL files required are included in the install.

Please, when reporting any errors, zip and attach your logs after duplicating the error. If you think there are alignment issues or layout improvements, if you could, attach a screen shot showing problem area.

I use UbuRadio with Blue and Mayhem3 (with MixMan's help here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=31151&page=6) If you want me to test with CS4 FS (Fat Screen) let me know.

I have updated the first post with the link and instructions. UbuRadio is apparently working in this version as well. I did not test every single action and function, as things should work by just by me making the correct image path changes. That being said, everything could crash and burn when you click the things I didn't.

The wide screen version will just be the same thing, but with lists optimized for the wider display area.

Martin, if you want to test this or wait for the next version, feel free to do so at your leisure.

Good so far on the pc.. downloaded and watched a video via VLC popup window here. The menus look good in cs4x.

Not sure on getting it out to the MVP yet.

The readmes and howto's are a little confusing.

edit: spoke too soon.. the Main Menu icon in the WebStreams page hits an error. Either by keyboard [highlight and Enter], or mouse click fails. Using the ESC key works though (at the MVP.. "back' button as well as highlight and OK navigate properly).
The popup error is Stack Empty (at System.Collections.Stack.Peek())

Well, guess im back up the same creek as the last time I tried UbuStream. Nothing is showing at the MVP, and if Im reading the docs correctly, I need to config the system to use Channel mode. From the wiki, Im trying to set up a capture source.. but each time I add it and then restart the config of GBPVR, the capture source is missing.

edit: and at the MVP, tryin to play in list mode , in timeshift mode (the only option), it starts loading then soft-resets the MVP.

Thanks for the logs, will probably not get to them until tomorrow night, I work my second job tonight.

I don't have an MVP so I cannot really help out much, but I will give it a try.

I have not worked with this version, but the previous version worked on MVP only in channel mode .

I would think it's probably still the same then.. fatman_do fixed the skin references etc so that it would work with CS4 (instead of blue).

I suspect in Channel mode, each RSS feed (or torrent search item etc) is supposed to be mapped over to a virtual channel.
