Can anyone tell me, is this USB remote receiver compatible with the Hauppauge remotes (say using HIP)?

I cant specifically answer your quesiton, but can maybe point you in the right direction

I just got 2 sets of these (with remotes) and when plugging them into MCE2005 it is recognized as an ehome receiver, just like my microsoft mce remote. So if an ehome receiver can be used with a hauppauge remote then i would assume this one can as well. As for whether the Hauppage remote can work with an mce remote receiver with hip inbetween i can not answer though.

i use a mvp remote with my mce dongle w/hip....works a charm...
i already have a remote mapping file for the hauppauge 45 button remote if you want it..
