I just bought and installed a used x1900 radeon pci express card to watch and record tv. I dont like the factory software so i decided to try gb pvr. I installed the program but tne tuner guide does not include my card. Any that I try say there is a missing crossbar. Am i doomed or am i missing a step in getting this to work for me. Thanks in advance with whatever suggestions you have.

Sorry, this device cant be used for either live tv or recording. It lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

the x1900 is a display only card...i'm not aware of any all-in-wonder versions with a 1900 on them either..
the extra ports you see on it are for tv outs, not ins...
it should work fine for display, but only mpeg2 acceleration...no h264..
[use software codec instead for 264]

I assumed it was an AIW model he was asking about, but you could be right.

There was an AIW-X1900: http://ati.amd.com/products/RadeonX1900/...index.html

(not that that changes anything)
