Thanks pbs, a great help the only one I didn't include was colorspace 'cos I didn't know if that was a bit too complex for this, anyway can always be put in.

Thanks Stustunz, was already on that 1! Current version of comskip is pbs' plus a tweak, do you think should mention ability to be done on the fly with 'live tv' as well? Anyway if you didn't mind having a look at latest draft.

I had no idea we'd get to so many terms so quick lol.

Only missing alphabetical entries for 'J' 'K' 'W' 'Y' & 'Z'. If anyone can think of entries for these we'd have the whole alphabet covered

Nearly there attached is latest, there are still a few descriptions to be added either 'cos I haven't got round to doing them yet or because they're not in my comfort zone knowledge-wise without waffling. Any help most appreciated still.....

They're easy to find in attached as anything lacking has comment [More]

oh, the ones i added are starting at GPU, the rest i just tried to fill in...
i figured i'd say comskip just marks commercials for skipping cuz you have to use a player that can skip to make it skip during playback...

feel free to edit any of them to add clarity or info.

just need to get a html page up cuz i'd like to add bold, etc to certain parts..

Yup got that they are now integrated into last draft alphabetically (with the exception of colorspace)

Absolutely, probably won't be adding any more entries for now but would be good to fill in a few more of the [More] details.

Was trying to figure if there was a way to get the initial page up to the wiki without it yet appearing? Idea was eventually to have a link to it from the 'Manual' section on the left side of navigation as in:

but haven't even worked out if I can do that yet, sure I asked blader_se about this ages ago to do with something else but can't find the emails :o

and might wanna chage Microsoft Runtime to MS VC2005 Runtime as M$ has lots of runtimes..

funny how STB is now actually obsolete, you won't be settin anything on TOP of a flatscreen...lol

Noted, run out of time for tonight, will give another day and see if any other additions to missing details etc, but think we can lock down on the current entries for now, hopefully we'll have an initial glossary up in the next couple of days
