Slimm no longer shows me status balloons when I "hover". More accurately, it shows me one--the next pending program--then I hear the little "popping" sound, but do not see any other information.

Seems odd, especially as it's making the little noise. Though I don't think this is it, Windows can only show one balloon from all tray icons at a time so if another is showing, it can simply ignore the next one.

Nice to see you. I was wondering where you'd been.

No, there are no other balloons showing. I realised that the first message is not a balloon but a "tool tip". I wonder if I somehow have ALL balloons turned off in the OS?

You can indeed disable all balloons in Windows. However, it's not something you do by accident.

I don't use GBPVR anymore (I use Windows Media Center) but I do monitor this board.

Odd. I know I didn't apply that patch, but the value was at 0. I think I'd better run a more thorough malware check; it's conceivable that it could be an attempt to disable warnings.

Heresy!

I don't know what I'd do without your apps.

The thought of SlimmGBPVR eventually sliding into incompatibility with GBPVR is too much to contemplate.

Would you consider donating it to sub so he could incorporate it into the base GBPVR?

That's not a problem but I doubt he would want to.

Yes, I agree...the notion is tantamount to couches becoming incompatible with televisions. The CLI is absolutely critical to nearly all of my scripts.
