Crash during channel scan

My tuner is being recognized as:
AVerMedia 716x BDA ATSC Tuner

But.. my card is a:
Avermedia Duet A188

Whenever I do a channel scan it crashes.

Can you reproduce the problem, then post the npvr.log?

Where is npvr.log located? I can't seem to find it inside C:\Program Files\NPVR.

I'm using Windows XP. This is where I found the log:

I am also unable to get past channel scan, computer crashes during scan. This is happening on 2 different computers both windows 7 installations.
I have tried both videomate S350 and Hauppauge Nova-s-plus. TV Cards
No problems with GBPVR 1.47

Same here- have have exactly the same DVB hardware, except my Nova is the HD one.

Having the same problem with Hauppauge 1600 HVR and Windows XP professional.
