It looks like your decoders are not hooking up for some reason. You could try downloading GraphEdit, and running it while you're attempting live tv in NPVR, then select 'connect to remote graph' from the graphedit menu, and take a screenshot of the graph, then post it. This will tell use for sure if it is connecting or not.

Where is your ArcSoft Decoder from?

It was necessary to get from Hauppauge a CD of WinTV HD in order to get the ArcSoft H.264/AAC decoders they recommend.

I have run GraphEdit according to your instructions. I don't know what you were expecting but all I got was a small window which I refreshed. It contained

pid 0x13a0 (5024) lFilterGraph = 00279400
I then refreshed and got a second line
pid 0x13a0 (5024) lFilterGraph = 052eca88

Attached is a screenshot of the window

When I hit the OK the 2 entries disappeared.

You'r supposed to click one of them so it gets selected before you click OK. This SHOULD bring up the actual graph, however I had no success doing that.

I've had mixed results - often the graph is shown, but not always.

To get the ArcSoft H.264/AAC decoders that Hauppauge recommends,it was necessary to get from them a CD of WinTV HD.

Try as I might I can't get GraphEdit to produce a graph. I came across this in MSDN
"
GraphEdit can load a filter graph created by an external process. With this feature, you can see exactly what filter graph your application builds, with only a minimal amount of additional code in your application.

Note This feature requires Windows 2000, Windows XP, or later.

Note Starting in Windows Vista, you must register proppage.dll to enable this feature. Proppage.dll is included in the Windows SDK.
"

I don't have proppage.dll on my Vista 64-bit system. Do I need it?

Used GraphEditPlus to get this. Screenshot attached.

I have just tried running GraphEditPlus with nPVR playing back a nPVR recorded file. Same result as above so maybe the problem is with my use of GraphEditPlus. Oh well, back to the drawing board!
