NPVR plugin development

If you have done any plugin development work with PVRX2 (and presumably it's divine predecessor), you'll find the NPVR development pretty familiar. I'm still stumbling along on the plugins on which I am working, and usually the general order of operations is "what the hell?" followed, eventually, by "oh, I see".

Sometimes there is whimpering along the way.

Is there a way to change the text of a new style button at runtime? It used to be something like
GBPVRX2.UiSupport.UiButton btn;
btn = (GBPVRX2.UiSupport.UiButton)base.buttonList[btnIdx];
btn.ChangeName(NewText);

I can't find anything equivalent.

Yes, it'll probably make a return at some stage. To make sense in the new navigation structure it'll probably operate sideways instead of vertically though, since the buttons are along the top rather than down the left side.
