Hi all,
I have recently purchased an Elgato Eyetv Diversity USB tuner for my PC.
I have installed GB-PVR with the hopes of using it with my tuner.
I have selected the option to show card connected to my computer but unfortunately nothing comes up as a match.

I have noticed that there are Cinergy and Terratec options in the available cards.

My Card came bundled with "Terratec Home Cinema" and while it is running, i notice an app by the name of "cinergydvr.exe" running in the processes.

Is it possible that these options may work with this card?

I have used GBPVR with a cheaper card and really liked the software and would like to use it with this card if possible.

Cheers
Kevin

Thanks for the suggestion.
While installing i came up with a few errors and it seems to crash everytime I click on "Update EPG" in the settings menu.
Have posted the errors at http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post385557 hoping someone knows how to fix the issue.

Although it does detect my card, it looks like it doesn't support the diversity mode Sad
The eyetv Diversity card has 2 tuners in it, and diversity mode kind of bridges the 2 tuners to get better reception. That is the main reason I spent $280AUD on a TV card as digital reception is quite poor in my suburb, and using this card with a signal booster has so far yielded the best results, nearly recieving all channels.

Looks like I may need to stick to using the bundled software which isnt too bad, I just like this software package better

It should work with the Diversity mode of this device. I'm pretty sure this device is just a clone of the Hauppauge Nova-TD Stick, and NPVR works fine with it's diversity mode.

This is hidden from applications like NPVR though. ie, with the Hauppauge device you run their utility to configure it to use either diversity or dual tuner mode. If you've configured the device in dual tuner mode, then it'll look like two devices in the machine, and the app can use either individually. If you've configured the device for diversity mode, then it'll only look like there is one device in the machine, and the behind the scenes the drivers use both the tuners to give a slightly better signal. ie, the app never has to do anything special, the drivers show up as either one device or two depending on the mode it's configured for. If you're seeing two tuners, then the device is configured for dual tuner mode.
