OK, Thanks

One last question. I noticed something different in the logs this time. This is the end of starting the first recording and then the start of the second recording. Anything look unusual? I don't remember seeing the line about "Client Listener starting on port 7969" before.

Code:

That message is always in the log. It shows up about 10 seconds after the recording service starts (on a different background thread). In this particular case you managed to do stuff before the message show up in your logs, but it was unrelated to this activity.

Your problems wont be related to this message. Its just saying the background thread that waits for client connections has started.

tjb Wrote:Yes, that is true. But when it is supposed to use the second tuner it appears that the tuning info never shows up in the log as shown in the thread http://forums.gbpvr.com//showthread.php?...ion-1.5.28

I have also seen the last thing in the nrecord log saying something to the effect about checking to see if it can multirecord. Those are the reasons I think it may be related to multirecord. I have tried this on two Windows 7 systems and also on an XP system, all of them fail in one way or another.

I was thinking of another of your logs I looked at that clearly showed it starting a recording on the first hdhr tuner, then starting a second recording on the second hdhr tuner, tuning requests and all. That's why I was thinking disabling multi-record wouldn't help you at all.
