Some Channels Not Working

Is it just the .ts file that you want? I have one created in the recordings directory if that's what you want.

You could see if this patch helps. I'm not 100% sure the patch is compatible with 1.5.31, so backup your original file first incase you have to go back.

The scan found those 2 channels this time, but strangely, it did not find KABC-HD. I just added the 2 missing channels and now I guess it's complete. Should I leave this patched file in there, or put the original back now that I've got all of my channels. Also, what was the general problem, and is it something that will be fixed in future releases?

If you rescan, it should only list channels which dont already have, so KABC-HD shouldnt be listed if you've already got it enabled for that device. You should be fine to leave that patch in place.

The problem related to the specific way your cable operator was rebroadcasting was the over-the-air KABC-HD. They're rebroadcasting some information called the Terrestrial Virtual Channel Table (TVCT), which lists the names of the channels. The app saw the TVCT and assumed it described all the channels in that frequency, when in fact it was just part of their rebroadcasting, and only described KABC-HD and not the extra channels that were added in the cable broadcast. That patch removed that assumption.

It is included in the main code from the next release.
