ASUS 1501P using the MCE remote with GBPVR?

I have bought an ASUS eeeBOX 1501P which has included MCE remote.

Anyone who has the same and use it with GBPVR?

will the remote easily work with GBPVR or do I need to do some configuration somewhere?

I will have the ASUS in livingroom and my recording PC with GBPVR (WInXP today) is in another room - I would like to be able to use the ASUS and other PCs as a GBPVRclient - tried some year ago but never got the client to work - hopefully easier today - I will use Windows 7 on all PCs.

Is the client function working good for you?

mce remote should work out of the box for most keys...
but if you'd like to customize it i'd say get IRSS [Ir Server Suite] and you could also use any remote you wish..[it can learn other remotes]
client works fine for pvrx2...of course a few oddities but very usable for me...not sure how complete npvr client is..it did work well first time i tried it..
