Gibabyte GT-P8000

Hey there guys,

I have a Gigabyte GT-P8000 and I'm from Portugal.
The software that came with the tv card is pretty lame, the interface sucks and the video quality of recorded stuff is a lot lower that the live view and well... here I am trying to find a better software.

So I installed nPVR, the device is listed on the settings, though it says it's 'Digital Recorder Settings' and I'm trying to use the analog signal (the tv card actually handles both). Anyway I tried to scan the channels, but as expected, I got nothing.
I made some digging and found that installing Wintv7 could help, but I couldnt install it, because it didnt detected any compatible hardware.

I just tried that, but the files that the bat ask for are not inside the wintv7 version I have. They really arent, I checked one by one. Besides that, it asks for files like cwm_ABC but the only similar files are named cwm123.

Do you have any link with the right wintv7 version?

just follow the link in the wiki to hauppauge support. pick any current HVR product (like HVR-1200) and the WinTV7 download will be the first thing on the page.

there's also a link to the download in the thread in my signature, in the analog devices section.
