Can you post the log containing that error?

sub Wrote:NPVR hasnt explicitly done anything to avoid showing the resume prompt next time if the user has watched to the end of a recording, but it should. I just dont typically watch the same recording twice, so I forgot to handle the situation.

The attached patch should remove the resume prompt in the Video Library or Recordings screen when the user has played a file to completion (or very near to it).

Hmm, this becomes problematic for me as I use the resume flag as an indication of which shows in a long list of videos that I have seen and which I have not. As in an downloaded whole season of a show. If I am unsure, I open the video menu and see resume. Fine thisI have seen, check next.

There is nothing fundamentally wrong with a resume entry that points to the last second of the video IMHO. It is kind of logical. That resume should "reset" is not logical.

If there was another flag indicating "watched" then this would be a non issue though.

Nothing changed about the API in that patch referred to above. You can still call PlaybackPositionHelper.GetPlaybackPosition() to check if a file has been played. All the patch did was not show the resume prompt if the playback position was very near the length of the file.

2011-07-04 23:18:58.220 [DEBUG][3] Playlist reached end (or the trace error shown in the previous link)
and issuing a Notify "PLAYING_AUDIO_ENDED"
