Problems watching recordings

When I'm watching the recordings with NPVR I get a lot of pixelations. I'm using the 2.1.5 version and I've updated my codecs with the latest Windows 7 Codec Pack. Also I've chosen the Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder as my codec. I tried watching the ts-files with VLC. Here there was no pixelation but instead I got a lot of horizontal lines. Then I tried using Windows Media Player and got a perfect picture!

How can I get a better picture using NPVR and VLC?

In NPVR it sounds like it relates to the decoder being used. Try a different decoder.

No idea about VLC. You're probably stuck with whatever it gives you.
