Hi guys

I'm just in the process of upgrading to NPVR on Windows 7 Professional. (long time user of GBPVR)

It's looking great.

I seem to have a problem however with Plugin's

I have copied the system and tv guide plugin's to the c:\users\public\npvr directory. But when i run npvr i can't see them on the screen.

When I look at the log it has the following message "Skipping non-existant plugin directory: C:\Program Files\NPVR\Plugins" (log file copy enclosed)

Why would this be wrong and what can i do to fix it.

Cheers

It looks for plugins subdirectories under C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Plugins. You also need to get into the Settings->Plugins screen to make sure they're enabled before they'll show up on the main menu.

hi sub

thanks for the quick response.

Sorry I missed that plugins part when i typed the question.

I think the error is to do with the line in the log file "Skipping non-existant plugin directory: C:\Program Files\NPVR\Plugins"
as you say it should be looking at "C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Plugins"

any idea's

Cheers

This is normal. It looks for the plugins in both locations. It looks subdirectories in "C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Plugins" first, before checking the other directory.

Hi Sub

I found it.
I had tried to install the Sub Menu Pluggin but hadn't configured it.
However it was set set as "Enabled" in the plugin itself.
Once I disable this, I could see all the plugin's.

Many thanks for your help

Cheers
