Soccerdad, I don't think NPVR can launch 7MC with a file but does running this command line take you to the NPVR recorded TV captures (via SageMCTuner)?

ehshell.exe /directmedia:tv

If not probably the closest you can get is adding the NPVR Recording directory as a video library and then launching ehshell.exe /directmedia:video

You kind of lost me. What directory do I have to be in when I launch those? (never been too good on command line stuff)

To report on some other things, I scheduled a recording to launch while the PC was sleeping. It made the folder but looks like it never got the stream. I don't know if it took too long to wake up, or if something else was the problem. I will repeat the test and post logs if it happens again.

I recorded both flagged and non flagged channels. I can watch the non flagged one through videos but not the flagged one as expected. If you double click on the flagged one in the directory (not through npvr) it launches WMC and plays fine.

Start->Run should be fine.

If you want to upload your logs, I will have a look. to see why it didn't record.

I just get a windows can't find ehshell.exe error

Both of those work. Since I have WMC also recording in this same directory, the tv one takes me to the recordings I recorded though npvr.

So I take it there is no way to select a file in videos (or other plugin) and have it launch that file (like I do by selecting it in the directory) in WMC if it is a WTV file?

I was basically giving options I could help you configure, those command lines could be "Custom Tasks" on the NPVR menu. Sub might be able to "launch" MC by forcing .wtv files to use ShellExecute() but I don't know if he is following this thread.
