Windows 8

Anyone successfully running NPVR in Windows 8? I figured I would install it and play with it a bit.
So far, I'm not impressed. Ugly green screen, but it is a beta and an early one at that. It will have to have many improvements for me to spend much time with it.

I got NPVR to work with all my tuners even though it told me it had no drivers for my 2250. Had some trouble getting the recording service to start but after I added all my tuners and scanned all the channels, I reinstalled and recording service worked. I had to install WinTV to get the mpeg decoder to work. Installing just the decoder would not work. WinTV won't work and spit and complained during the install but I over rode the messages and forced it to install in W7 mode.
The native TV program for the HDHR worked good too. Haven't tried the cable card and probably won't. This mouse has had enough cheese for now. I can't see me spending big bucks on this but as I have a TechNet subcription, I may install the final version on a machine to play with.
