Recordings OK, but marked as 'failed'

The specific error in my recordings is "no errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the tuner failed to lock..". The fix works for me I think because apart from my OS showing files at zero length when nrecord checks the file size, the recording is othewise completely OK. I guess the problem with your recordings must be something else.

This sounds similar to a problem I am having. I posted awhile back about several of my recordings failing and it says "Device Failed to Start". I recently discovered that all the recordings are there and I can watch them by going to Videos.
