I have jsut started playing with NPVR (since it can now be a backend to XBMC). Got everything setup 5 tuners (HDHomeRun and HDHomeRun Prime). Setup schedulesDirect. Unfortunately several of list on the schedulesdirect website are not availabe to be mapped in Setting|Channels. For instance channels 610 (CW), 680 (CNNHD) and 682 (HLN) are listed in Schedules direct but are not available when you try to map for guide data.

Am I doing something wrong? Perhaps I should rescan channels and remap?

If they're new channels, or recent changes to the channel lineup, you might need to hit the 'download' button next to your Schedules Direct channel lineup. Also check you've got the correct lineup selected in your Lineup dropdown.

You can look in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\schedulesdirect.xml to see what channel lineup information was supplied by Schedules Direct. You can search in there for you file.

That is what I had guessed the downlaod button was for but unfortunately that did not resolve the issue. I still have a handful (5-9) of channels that don't show up on the list.

Are you sure they are available in clear QAM (those aren't ATSC numbers)? Just because it is on Schedules Direcy doesn't mean it available. You need an STB and something in the HDPVR family for all cable channels. On the Silicon Dust site you can enter your zip code to see what is available but it is ot always current.
