I'll fiddle around tomorrow making some recordings of various combinations, and I'll post another NRecord.log for your perusal.

If you haven't noticed already, I'm highly motivated to help you find (or create?) a solution to this! I don't want to be "that guy", but this is about the only major issue I have with NPVR that keeps me from being a 100% satisfied customer. Everything else is there: supports multiple Colossae natively; supports Schedules Direct natively; supports proper padding on ATSC cards even for back-to-back shows on a single tuner; supports recording (or moving) to attached storage or a network drive (with a little fiddling around, or GuidePlus); and can act as a Live TV backend for XBMC. Bloody fantastic! But without being able to pad back-to-back shows from one or more Colossae, I can't quite just "set it and forget it" and trust that it's going to record things like I like them recorded in every case.

I had noted it down to look at improving this aspect in an upcoming release. There is nothing I can do about it in a hurry. If it was a small bit of work I would have done it in the past.

Great -- I appreciate it. If you need samples, or a beta tester, please let me know. In the meantime, I'll shut up and wait patiently!

Quote:3.3.8 available (25th October)

- the multi-record feature is now possible on analog/HDPVR/HDPVR2/Colossus/IPTV/Prime devices. For these types of devices it's not as useful as digital tuners, but still gives some advantages like the ability to get overlapping recordings on back-to-back recordings on the same channel (with padding in both).

Just noticed this today! Thanks, sub!
