Funny that you guys brought this up. A city council race in Walton, KY ended up being tied at 669/699 and will be decided by a coin toss. The reason it was tied? One of the candidates wives works the night shift and ended up sleeping until 10 mins before the polls closed. Her husband told her not to worry about it; after all, it was only one vote.
