Anyone using this (Maplin Freeview HD tuner) with NPVR?

Server = P4; win7; 2.8gHz 3gb ram; NAS; NPVR 2.5.5
Tuners = HVR4000 (s2); Technisat skystar USB, Haup 909; Maplin 9015 dual (A54HQ)
Clients = MVP, XTreamer, Viera, Viewsonic (Maplin A45KZ)

I have used one for almost 2 years (Xmas 2010) As said elsewhere http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...le-Picture the motherboard might not supply enough power on the usb sockets - just use a powered hub or powered usb lead. Also the supplied aerial is useless in the uk.

Just install the BDA Drivers (Windows 8 found them automagicaly) best Codecs by far for UK PDVD12 Video MPEG2 & H264 and LAF Audio MPEG & HE-AAC
It's not an overly complicated system - it's more - overly simple operatives  Huh

An mcx?? to Bellin-Lee adapter was included with mine - whereas the web sites (and support) seem to say they are not included.
No problems with mine since moving to powered hub
