Hello all, I installed nextPVR just last week and have been pleased it's simple to use appearance, but, (there's always a but) in the last 2 days I have been getting an error message about which I haven't a clue.
As I select a programme to record I get:
"Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application. If you click 'Continue', the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue."
Then a short message:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"
Thus far, I have been clicking 'Continue' and the programme has recorded successfully. I am concerned that I have done something wrong and that it may be necessary to rectify the problem before long...any ideas anyone.
By the way, there is more information available but I cannot copy it because when this message pops up it hides my pointer over the whole programme window. It is something JIT corrections, or the like.
The other situation is one of having to re-set channels, devices and decoders every time I turn the programme on. I obviously haven't set something up correctly but have no idea what.
I did tell you I was a tyro. I have 'used' computers for years but know nothing about the inner workings, so you will have to avoid any techy language or I simply won't get it, please.
