Hi,
I am using NextPVR 2.5.9 with the latest R2 patch.
I stumbled across the C:\Temp folder and noticed there was 55GB of live tv buffer files. So I closed XBMC and stopped the NextPVR service to delete the files.
The files were deleted, I started NextPVR again and opened XBMC. I tuned to channel CKCO to watch the liveTV stream. Eventually I was done watching the LiveTV stream and closed XBMC. I then proceeded to the C:\temp folder again and noticed that the files continued to grow even though XBMC was closed.
Why are the buffers filling up when I've shutdown XBMC? I was unable to delete the files since they were being held open by NDigitalHost.exe. The only way I could get it to stop creating buffer files was to stop the NextPVR service again. I restarted the NextPVR service and the files no longer showed up.
I've attached the log which shows the NDigitalHost file create the livetv buffer files.
Any help would be appreciated.
