Does anyone have the Ceton card working with npvr and xbmc frodo?

I have just today got my ceton card playing better with npvr. I can tune and watch channels now!! However, trying to tune a channel inside xbmc it just spins and spins with the buffering balloon showing. Anyone else seeing this? is this supposed to work now?

This is the known problem and behaviour I expected that I talked about in the other post. It's not really buffering it is streaming the file, which has is a valid ts file, but XBMC is not able to correctly display the file. It is an xbmc bug, and LeHighBri (a SageDCT user) did open a bug fix ticket but I am hoping that an update to SageDCT will come from babgvant that will correct the file at the source.

Have you installed SageSCT 2.7.2 (enabling the ffmpeg mux) and NextPVR 2.6.2

It's in a limited release because:

- I don't use it anymore, so I haven't tested it much personally which means that support issues are probably going to be higher.

- I've been busy with other things, so my availability to support it is limited.

He also added:

I hate to pester you too but did you ask him to give you access and try it? I can't test it because CableCard doesn't work here in Canada.

Yes, have installed 2.7.2 and XMBC now works!

Great thanks for the feedback, hopefully this will help all Ceton users of NextPVR. Early alpha versions of Gotham do seem to address this properly in the player, but making cleaner files in SageDCT won't hurt at all.
