After Restarting the Machine I can usually record 1 or 2 shows before it constantly starts failing every recording. This is really frustrating and I do know what the problem is.

In those logs there are a lot of cases where there was no errors but the device failed to lock onto a signal so no data was delivered to the app.

Quote:2013-03-28 19:20:03.130 [DEBUG][9] locked=0, present=0, strength=0, quality=-100 (took 47ms to check)

It'll either be: you've got marginal signal and sometimes the device fails to lock on, or there is some bug with this device or it's drivers.

I'm not sure if this is like the Hauppauge Diversity sticks where they provide a utility where you can switch between dual tuner mode, and single-tuner diversity mode. I see yours is currently dual tuner. If it's possible to switch to single tuner diversity mode, I'd try that since it'll give you better reception.

TV tuners for computers are almost always less sensitive than televisions and need a better signal. Can you do some test recordings without any coax splitters or coax extension cables? Can you try a signal amplifier?
