Accesing GB-PVR with MPV

Excuse my newness and ignorance. I have installed GB-PVR with my PVR-500 and MPV. I can not figure out how to access GB-PVR from the TV using the MPV's remote. I can use it from my PC and watch/record TV. I have also not figured out how to pause live TV. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Turn off your MVP. Go to your PC and get into the Services area (different ways depending on your OS - in XP it's Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services). Stop both of the Hauppauge MediaMVP services, and set the startup to Manual for them. Go into GB-PVR config, find the section for MediaMVP (I think under the playback tab, but it's not in front of me right now), set the number of services to autostart to 1, and OK out of config. Then start up the MVP, and you should see the GB-PVR interface.

1) In the config app for GB-PVR, set it to Auto start 1 MVP server.

2) Make sure you have some form of DHCP server running, or the MVP can't get an IP address.

3) Make sure the MVP & GB-PVR are on the same subnet.

Thank you guys. I did it and it works. Still seems to be some tweaking that needs to be done. Watching live TV seems to freeze several times and there are slight lines that appear. I will search this forum and try to find more answers. Thanks again.
