Single Folder for all Recordings?

I searched in the forum, but haven't seen this question asked before. What I am looking to do is to have all my recordings go to a single folder. Currently I have a single directory selected under Recording Directories. However, when a show is recorded, it put's the resulting .ts in a sub-folder named after the show. Is there any way to change this behavior to not create a directory for each show and just use the root directory for all recordings?

My original answer was just "No." That's wrong.

As Martin pointed out below, I forgot all about a setting to do exactly that. I've never used it and I doubt it's popular, but the the setting is there.

In Config.xml, set <AutoCreateFolders> to False. Restart the recording service for the setting to take effect, then give it a try.

Why not? Doesn't AutoCreateFolders true in config.xml work I haven't tested it in quite a while.

Yes I'm using the "AutoCreateFolders=false" setting. It works.
