Hi,

Anyone else experiencing trouble when recording encrypted channels on 3.1.1? I've had 4 recordings now and they've all been cut short. This happened occasionally on 2.6.2 also, but on 3.1.1 I've had a failure rate of 100%. I'm using Acamd and a phoenix card reader.

I'v had some problems with cut-short and black recordings, but I'm using Network Recorder for the time beeing so I'm not sure this is a 3.1.1 problem. Have you tried using the Acamd Monitor to see what's going on?

Haven't had the time to dig deep yet. Funny thing is that if I'm watching live, it never seems to happen. I think I'll switch from newcs to oscam and see if that would make any difference. Will keep testing.

I doubt it has anything to do with the cardserver, I run it on a separate computer and it has never failed once it it started properly. I do sometimes get an "unknown card" error after a reboot but restarting NewCS fixes it. You could try switching from Acamd to something else and see if it makes a difference.

I have not noted any problems with the MDAPI part after upgrading to 3.1.1. Also running the ACAMD with a Phoenix card reader. The Cardserver is on another machine.

This is so funny. I played a few hours with OSCam yesterday and actually managed to get it working. Decided to stick with NewCS for now though. As a result of OSCam, my cardconfig for Acamd changed a little (OScam seems to be quite a bit stricter regarding the connection). I then took the changes to NewCS (changed port) and scheduled some recordings. During the first one I kept both NewCS and Acamd monitor open. Recorded flawlessly. Scheduled another 5 for the night some of which recorded simultaneously and just checked to file sizes and they all recorded completely. Seems to have been a temporary glitch (fingers crossed).
Thanks for all the replies though!
