NextPVR switches to wrong channel

I have a Hauppauge HD PVR2 running NextPVR. My EPG is Schedules Direct and it's set to my local area (I am on Shaw Direct Satellite Eastern Canada). The problem is NextPVR is not switching to the selected channel. Lets say I select channel 256 either using the guide or by typing the number in NextPVR. Channel changes to something entirely different. I checked and if I am running the Hauppauge WinTV software, I can type in the channel and it sends the right command to the set top box but NextPVR sends a different number sequence.

Has anyone else run into this problem and if so, any fix for this. I checked all the options in NextPVR and found no settings to correct this.

Are the channel numbers correct when you go into the Settings->Devices->HDPVR screen? (ie, not the Settings->Channels screen).

Yes, they are correct. However the box sends the wrong numbers to the set top box via the IR Blaster. This problem only happens in NextPVR. I don't have this problem in WinTV.

Reproduce the problem by doing a recording, then post the nrecord.log, and a description of what channel it should have changed to vs what channel it actually changed to, and I'll take a look.

I'm sure it's just to do with the way you've configured your channels.
