Are we seeing a climate change?

Here in Upstate NY (near the Canadian border) it was 50F this morning...and raining...on January 6th. We've had more ice than snow this season.

Growing up, it was snow from November to March. That's it, rain was unheard of.

Something is going on for sure.

Here in Ottawa Canada actually not too far north of North Lawrence, it feels like the opposite, we seem to have had more snow than normal and it's been colder than normal too. I remember when we used to say it was too cold to snow, not anymore.

When I went to work this morning it was a balmy 6C with rain, and now with wind chill it is -17C and it will be -31C later tonight. Hard to dress for these extremes.

I know what you mean. What a change in temp in 12 hours, huh? That wind chill is until 10am tomorrow too, cold trip to work.
