Had an VF ISP salesman come by and offer a deal to move to fibre which we couldn't pass... Bundled VF TV into it as well, but I actually had no idea until it was being installed that it was TV over IP (was described as a box swap with different badge on front).. Wondered if the IP broadcast can be captured by NPvr ?? (im guessing not...). Can record natively, but is more flexible to have on the HTPC if I want to keep a recording... Thanks

NextPVR could only record with a set top box plugged into an analog/composite/svideo device or HDPVR style device.

Thanks Sub... The install guy used an existing LAN cable to the TV, and the multicast stream ended up blasting out of every port on the unmanaged switch. When I saw it was a TS stream with wireshark, was a little hopeful it may be read by 3rd party software... Did say "scrambled TS stream", so wasn't overly optimistic...
