SearchLite - Genres disappeared

Hey Martin,

It's weird but the genre option disappeared :confused: so I tried running GenreLite again but it's giving the stopped working message again . I uninstalled it and reinstalled it from the zip you posted and it's still not working. Any ideas?

Are you running genreLite as part of PostUpdateEPG.bat? The option is enabled when the file Plugins\Searchlite\NewGenre.db3 is found I am not sure why it disappeared. The only thing I can think of is you configured client mode to another share.

Yes, I am. I haven't been the TV in a few days until tonight. That's when I noted that the it was giving the Stopped Working message from the batch file and when I tried a reinstall.

The genrelite file is dated 01/20/12 and version 1.0.0. Is that the right one? I am using the download from my last post in the Wish List forum.

No, it was 2013 something. I checked the installer on the other thread and it is ok.

Ok, I got confused as to what download file I was using on the reinstall. Fixed. Need to delete older stuff. But that doesn't explain why it disappeared in the first place, I'll pay closer attention to see if it happens again. Obviously something on my system deleted the genrelite.db3 file but why I don't know. Again thanks for a wonderful tool.
