Version 3.3.8 suddenly lost my upcoming recordings and playback is bad.

Went to watch some pre-recorded stuff that should have recorded today. There was nothing new in the list, none of todays shows recorded. Tried to watch something live in the guide, got a message that the recording device was not available. Tried Total Media Extreme, and I can watch live TV just fine there. Rebooted the system (Windows 7) noticed that my decoders were switched around in NPVR. Changed them back and now it will play live TV, but the image is messed up and the program locks up too.

My wife tried to watch a DVD earlier today and it was having issues at that time as well. We ended up watching the DVD in PowerDVD.

Still can't get NPVR to work. When I look at upcoming recordings, it says they are all conflicted and that: No tuner is available.

Does live tv work? ie, proving the device is present and functioning. If it is, then it should be able to schedule recordings.

view settings->devices and make sure your tuner is present and enabled, then go to settings->channels and do an EPG update. post the NPVR.log showing all of that.

When I try Live TV, it will play momentarily in a smaller size than normal, about half the size I would say (kinda weird) and then I get a windows error box that says the program has stopped working, do you want to close the program or keep trying. Have to close the program at this point as it doesn't respond. Then I can see four blue "Lav" icons in the notification area that go away as soon as I move the cursor over them.

I did check to see that the tuner is present and enabled. I tried yesterday to uncheck that, and check it again, but that had no effect. I just tried updating the EPG, and that didn't make a difference either.

Could this be a problem with my codecs? Just grasping at straws, you guys would know better.

Update: Recordings are working now! No idea why. There was a windows update that applied over night. I've rebooted many times before this, not sure what may have changed.

Only remaining problem is that live TV just shows a blank screen. Audio is good. I can press escape to go back to the guide and it does not lock the program up anymore. Here are the updated logs from tonight.
