Does NextPVR Support Pay Channels?

I have a HD HomeRun Prime with a Comcast cable card. My old computer was running WMC and Windows 7. I received pay channels like HBO with no problem.

My new computer is Windows 8.1 and NextPVR 3.3.8. I noticed that HBO doesn't show up. Is there a setting I need to adjust, or does NextPVR not support pay channels?

Only WMC can receive pay channels like HBO; they are flagged "Copy_Once". Software other than WMC can only receive "Copy_Freely" channels, which depending on your cable company may be all channels other than premium channels like HBO, or may be only the basic broadcast channels. The CableLABS requirements, certification and license fees to handle "Copy_Once" channels are prohibitive.
