Why No Premium Channels - HD Homerun Prime

Can someone explain to me why if you are authorized to watch a Premium Channel with your 'M' Card that Npvr will not capture the data?

I mean Windows Media Center does it (Of course that isn't in Windows 10!) why not Npvr?

Is there an add-on paid or otherwise that would allow this?

DRM. With WMC you have a trusted chain, try and play a recorded DRM'd wtv file on any other PC, or even on the same machine with Kodi

There is huge licensing and certification costs involved in adding support for copy protected channels. As free app, we obviously can't afford that.
