black screen on some channels

My application is set to NPVR in the HDHR settings.

Does it make any different if set to 'ATSC/QAM Other' or 'Default'.

I just tried Default, it didn't seem to help.

They removed ASTC/QAM from the settings, it used to be there but it's gone now. Perhaps Default was the replacement for that.

i went ahead and downgraded to 3.3.8 on my windows 10 box, and that fixed the problem so that I can reliably record again.

downgrading is a good enough work-around for me - i'll wait for this to be fixed in a later release.

FYI, I upgraded to newest release of NPVR (3.5.7) but still encountered same issues - many of the channels don't play reliably on the newer versions of NPVR. Sometimes they load just fine but many other times they only load a black screen.

Downgraded back to 3.3.8 again because I don't encounter any issues on that version. I'm not positive but it seems like the channels that had issues were always the secondary channels; so channel 7.1 would play fine, but 7.2 has issues, 44.1 is fine but 44.2 has issue, etc.

Note: my tuner is a HDHR, transcoding model, but I experience the same issues whether transcoding is turned off or on.
