Would it be possible to have an Import Funktion for the channel list (.XML) created http://satellites-xml.eu/.

They provide a daily update of the transponder lists for the different satellites at least for the greater EU area.

Perhaps, somebody has already written a conversion tool that allows nextpvr to read the .XML file created on satellites-xml.eu.

Cheers,
Michael

NextPVR should already be able to use those satellites definitions. At the bottom of http://satellites-xml.eu/, you'll need to set it to .ini when you download, and save the definition in C:\Users\Public\NPVR\Tuning\DVB-S. The satellites will then show up in satellite list in NextPVR when you scan.

I've used that source to create .ini files very successfully during the recent shuffling of transponders on the uk Sky satellites.

Thank you very much.
Incorperation of the .ini file works like a charme.
It might be helpful for others to incorperate your answer into the WIKI.
Cheers,
Michael

sub - I see that satellites-xml.eu will let you tick "all" to get a zip file with current ini files for all satellites. Would it be worth you including these when issuing a new version of npvr??

Yeah, good point. I've been meaning to do this for a while. I'll do this for the next release.
