losing tuner connection

My Nextpvr was working fine for almost a year and now I am losing tuner connection fairly regularly. I can manually restart recording service and it works for a while.

Do you have guide data and have you followed the other threads on the need to replace mc2xml?

I do have guide data (using schedules2xml). Was using mc2xml before.

I see that my channels were all set to xmltv for guide data, I just switched them (back?) to Schedules Direct.

Maybe you were having ms2xml call SD. If you had guide data that is not the problem, however SD native would be preferred because it won't delete listings if there is a failure.

I have seen several instance of problems like this

2015-11-01 02:35:00.413 [DEBUG][11] - Fail 11/4/2015 8:00 PM (NO CAN DO)

followed by

2015-11-01 02:35:01.636 [DEBUG][1] Parent appears to have exited. Host exiting.

Do you try and restart the recording server overnight?

I think I know what is causing this. The issue is resolved for the next release. In the meantime, untick the Settings->Recordings "look for alternate airings of unresolved conflicts" checkbox.
