Missing nextpvr client in KODI

In troubleshooting a problem on my android tv box I mistakenly uninstalled the nextpvr client. Now It is no longer listed in the pvr clients. If I search it is found but will not install. I am reluctant to do to much with the Chinese android box because I have no image to reinstall from.

KODI 15.2. android 5.1.1 amlogic s905 cpu, 1 gig ram, 8gig rom.

Any ideas as to how to install nextpvr client?

Its included with Kodi. I've never seen an install were you had to install it separately.

Unfortunately when uninstalled it disappeared from the pvr selections, hence my problems.

Sorry, I don't know. I would have said try reinstalling, but can see you comment about that...

I have the same problem with my windows machine. I reinstalled Kodi and it reappeared. The problem is it does not see the server (same machine) even though the port and address are correct.

Alw02, try uninstalling Kodi on your Android machine and then re-install it from the web or from the Google store. This should bring NextPVR back. I am not sure if you will have the same problem that I have in that it does not connect with the NextPVR server. I am using 3.6.6 version of the server on Kodi 15.2.

Well, reinstalling KODI fixed the problem. I was hesitant to risk anything on this Andoid TV box as I have no info on restoring the box.

Everything is good now.

If stock Kodi works great. Note that some players use custom Kodi packages optimized for their chipset. Quite often this is done without providing the source back to Kodi for inclusion in the baseline so a reinstall could give you an inferior player.
