I've incurred a problem with server database npvr and am having a problem changing \\cp-pc\npvr\npvr.db3 back to \\hushpc\npvr\npvr.db3. Please give me some new direction. I just installed this software and was setting up the Live TV when I caused the problem. I also received an error message 0x80070005.

What problem? ie, happens when you try?

For the record, in a typical install you wouldn't need to change this server database setting. It's only used if you're setting up a client machine in a client/server setup.

What are you doing when you get this error?

I received the error message and a \\cp-pc\npvr\npvr.dbe server database can't locate message on starting up npvr. I uninstalled nextpvr and reinstalled it and I'm still receiving the same server database can't locate.

Are you not able to back in to the Settings->Devices screen, and untick the 'act as client' setting (then restart)? As mentioned, you should only have ticked this if you were trying to setup a client in a client/server setup. In a normal install with only the single machine, you should just leave it unticked (ie, the default).

Otherwise you can just delete the c:\users\public\npvr\config.xml file to get all the defaults back.

I can't get any of the software to load, so I'm unable to get in settings. I will go into C:\ users\ public\npvr\ config.xml file an delete. Thanks.
