not all channels available

hi, i have to buy a new computer and looking for a tv player. just got next pvr. but not all the channels are available. like hbo and other. pleas help

You didn't really give enough info there to tell you anything definitive, without requiring guesswork.

It'll probably depend on the tuner or capture device you're using. ie, if you're using a setup with HDPVR style device, then you can capture any channel you want, including HBO etc. If you're using cable card tuner, then you're at the mercy of what channels your cable company is copy-protecting.

You're at mercy of what channels your cable company is marking as copy protected. It's likely channels like HBO are marked copy-never / copy-once by your cable company, making them unavailable to NextPVR.
