garbled audio on (some) TV channels

NextPVR 3.6.6 on Win7 x64 OS.

I am very happy with NextPVR which I am using to build a complete system of broadcast recording and archiving by integration with a content management system. This is being done in Singapore, where we have 7 broadcast television stations received via DVB-T2. EPG is received fine, and recordings work fine. The TS files show that the recordings include H.264 video and 2 channels of AAC audio.

I can view the video and hear the audio perfectly on the English News Channel (Channel News Asia), but although the picture is clear on other channels the audio is silent or garbled. I have installed the LAV audio codec pack (http://www.nextpvr.com/decoders.html). It was working, but then I was trying to playback TS files and found they were silent in Windows Media and VLC (Classic Media Player is able to play the files with audio). In trying to fix this by installing some codec pack, I seem to have broken the audio playback in NextPVR, at least for some channels. Is there any recommendation on how to get this working?

Another thing - I am able to manually tune the FM radio receiver. But when I listen, the screen is black and the schedule has no programme data either. Is there some video codec which will display information about the selected audio programme? Is there any EPG for the FM radio channels?

This isn't for commerical use right? NextPVR is only free for personal non-commercial use.

Do you still have the LAV Audio Decoder selected as the HE-AAC and AAC decoders? This should work. If it doesn't post the logs showing an attempt to watch one of these channels and I'll take a look.

There is no broadcast EPG for FM radio. You can setup NextPVR to use xmltv listings for that channel, but you'll need to provide your own xmltv file with the listings.
